Terms of service

Last updated: August 2026

1. Who you are contracting with

younisconvert ("younisconvert", "we", "us") operates the website younisconvert.com and the file conversion tools available on it (together, "the Service"). These terms form an agreement between you and younisconvert as the seller of the Service.

2. Agreement

By accessing or continuing to use the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. You confirm you are of legal age, and where you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, that you have authority to bind it.

3. Free usage and paid access

Visitors may convert one file for free. The free allowance is tracked per device and IP address. Beyond that you must create an account and purchase unlimited access for a one-month period at 3.99 USD or the equivalent in your local currency.

4. Acceptable use

You must own the files you convert or have permission to process them. You may not use the Service for unlawful content, fraud or spam, malware, copyright or other intellectual property infringement, or any attempt to interfere with, probe, scrape, overload or reverse-engineer the platform.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos and the younisconvert brand, is owned by younisconvert or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose within your selected plan. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, reverse engineer or create derivative works from the Service. You keep all rights in the files you upload or convert; you grant us only the limited licence needed to process them and deliver your output.

6. Your files

Conversions run in your browser wherever technically possible. Where server processing is required, files are deleted automatically after processing.

7. Availability and warranties

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, or that a converted file will be accepted by any third party, including passport or licence authorities. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Always check official requirements before submitting a document.

8. Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See our Payments & refunds page for further detail.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination your right to use the Service ends and account data may be deleted after a reasonable export window.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new version.
